Visiting Teide is a must. It’s amazing to see how the climate and landscape of Tenerife change as you ascend. The kids will love feeling like they’re on another planet. The national park is huge and full of stunning spots that look like they’re from another world. It’s very easy to access by car. Despite what most guides say, I wouldn’t recommend taking the cable car up. The time spent on it isn’t necessarily worth it. Instead, you can use that time to drive down the northern side towards La Orotava and find a good “guachinche” to enjoy authentic local food. - Visit Los Gigantes and Take a SailBoat or Kayak Tour 🛶🐋
The cliffs of Los Gigantes are truly impressive. But what really makes this visit special is the chance to go out on a sailboat (my favorite option because it’s more exclusive and the sound of sailing is very relaxing). If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also rent a transparent kayak to see whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. It’s an experience that will leave everyone in awe, especially the kids. Being so close to these giants of the sea is something you’ll never forget.
3 Relax at the Ritz-Carlton Abama Beach 🏖
If you’re staying at the Ritz-Carlton Abama, don’t miss the chance to enjoy their beach. While it’s not private, its difficult access makes it one of the most exclusive on the island. With crystal-clear waters and golden sand, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a day of sun and sea with the family.
